Video it’s in the Eye of the User

I’ve just been writing an article about Wenger, reinforcing for me the idea that Web2.0 is about negotiating content. How does video fit into this. Well I think part of it is remembering that you need to create video that will help you in some way. I read this quote and I think there is something to it when it comes to video. ‘The secret to information overload is to produce more.’ Steve Hargadon. On the one hand the videos I have produced have helped us create rich learning experiences. You are forced to clarify your thinking to the point of consumption. But I think it was hard for me to get that I was producing a conversation not a complete lesson.

This video is my first attempt at something I personally feel want to have a conversation about. In it I explain the three biggest mistakes/challenges I faced with video. As you watch it think about your own experiences - are they different. What have been the challenges for you? Please feel free to comment over at Edna.tv or here on my blog. Thanks.

Things I want to think about as I create video in the future

So here are a few of the mistakes I made.  Hopefully I’ll get better over time.
